Romans 12:2

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

As followers of Jesus Christ, it is important to not get caught up in the world. The world should not tell you what is right and wrong, but there will be a sense of knowing from God in your spirit about what is right and wrong. We are the light of the world. We are the guardians of this world. We lead the people to the narrow path to Jesus or the world will sway us down a path of evil.

When we call on the name of Jesus, we must have faith that he will help us no matter the situation or location. I get caught up in the discouraging things I see and hear daily that my mind becomes distracted from the most important thing to me. The most important thing for me to do in my life is to seek God continuously.

The message today is clear. Be still, seek God continuously, love others faithfully, and he will take care and bless me.

Job 32:8-9

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

There are many reasons one could discredit my skills & knowledge. I do not plan, I am a black young woman, I can be impulsive, I tend to speak my mind, they might have seen me naked, and probably much more. However, when God gifts you anything, it is not to prove worthiness to people who he did not. Sometimes, it is not for them to understand how and what you can. People can have many years of experience over you and you can still surpass them in understanding. When people can see you are gifted, it will come with a lot of discouragement, people may try to discredit you as much as they can, take advantage, and try to exert as much control over you as they can. Do not be discouraged. Know that the enemy comes against you hardest when you are on the right track of getting closer to God.
