1 Corinthians 15:19-20
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Mark 4: 39
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Psalms 46:1-2
(To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Psalms 73:23 -24
Psalms 31:15
My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
In the midst of it all, I do not be knowing what to do, who to turn to, or how. Consulting with God through prayer and scripture is how I get the correction and guidance necessary to carry on and cope with life. Right now, I wanted to draw near to God. It is easier said than done because of flesh. A good question from my devotionals today is what am I a slave to? What is it really, that is within myself, not others, that holds me back?
This is what I will meditate on today.
