Songs of Solomon 2:4
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalms 102:27
But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Acts 17:27-28
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring
Isaiah 1:15-20
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
My favorite verse from scripture this morning is Isaiah 1:18. God tells us that once we reason together and repent; our sins, though red, will be white as snow. This is very meaningful to me because the stigmas of our lifestyles, sins, and past can seem to have a shameful, embarrassing, and lasting affects on our mental health and social standing. However, knowing that in the name of Jesus, that God purifies us and sees us for who we are, makes all the difference to me. Sometimes you sin and certain people will write you off and label you forever.
