Habakkuk 3:16 -19
16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Psalm 61:2-4
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
Matthew 6:34
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
2 Corinthians 3:18
As all of us reflect the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, we are becoming more like him with ever-increasing glory by the Lord’s Spirit.
Today the scriptures are concurrent when the idea that God will be a sense of refuge in the time of weariness and mourning. My favorite scripture of today is Mark 1:35. It's talking about Jesus would get up early before sunrise, go to a desolate place and pray. I'm sure he would go to desolate place to separate himself from the spirits that inhabit places full of people. I think there is something spiritually significant about going out in nature to commune with God because you are in the middle of his creation. I need to implement this in my life going forward.
I may be too attached to what I hold on to. However, I want to make my house a home. The story of Habakkuk is about a prophet of God who knew that many hard times were on the horizon but did not stop glorifying God in the mist of his chaos, fear, and tribulations. I must take hold of what I know to be rooted in God and not take down for anything.
