Psalm 121:5

Exodus 23:1-9

Matthew 11:28-30

Joshua 1:5-9

Isaiah 30:15

Commentary:

As I decide to draw closer to God, it seems like the enemy comes against me harder. I've gotten baptized and I have decided to remain chaste until marriage. By chaste, I mean completely. I will forego masturbation as a sacrifice to God and to harness my sexual energy into more productive things. I feel burdened by other's doubts and fears. Putting my trust in God and working to better myself is at the forefront of my mind. Everything else is not worth putting faith in right now. Part of me of knows that, without sex, a lot of men would not pursue me. So, that will weed out the type of men I do not need to pursue because sex is not love. Separate the tare from the wheat.

Psalm 121:5

One day people act like they are with you, and then when a situation gets hard or real, people easily switch up. People want what they can get from you, and when that is not an option, they switch up. When things get hard or troubling, you see the true colors of everyone in your life. When you don't have money, you see the true colors of everyone in your life. People want to have control over you, and when they cannot, they switch up. You speak up, people switch up. People get offended, they switch up. People are selfish in nature. God is the only consistent force within my life. So, I put my trust completely in God and not in men. I have been disobedient to God for a while now, for selfish desires, and to humble myself before man. Now, I will walk in the power and intuition that God has given me to the best of my abilities.
